Beth Combs is a former Special Educator with nearly a decade of classroom experience in the Hill Country of Texas. After leaving the classroom, Beth was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD—an eye-opening discovery that helped her make sense of the challenges (and superpowers) she faced as a teacher. Her experience as an undiagnosed neurodivergent educator fuels her passion for helping teachers connect with students at every level—and create classrooms where everyone can thrive.
Beth believes, as Madeline Hunter once said, “Kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” She’s seen it play out time and time again: when students feel seen and valued, behavior shifts, trust builds, and learning happens. In a world where many students show up with more baggage than school supplies, relationships aren’t a soft skill—they’re a survival strategy.
Beth isn’t here to sell fluff or reinvent the wheel. She brings a practical, research-based approach to classroom management—one that’s packed with tools teachers can actually use the next day. She knows educators already juggle a dozen roles on any given morning (teacher, counselor, snack-stasher, behavior whisperer, etc.) and that today’s classrooms are more diverse, more demanding, and more rewarding than ever.
Her sessions mix real talk, a little laughter, and a lot of useful strategies. Because while we can’t control what happens after 4 PM, we can make 8 to 4 a place where students feel safe, seen, and ready to learn. Beth’s here to help teachers reclaim their classrooms—not by adding more to their plates, but by giving them tools that truly work.
